Flood submerges entire Tajik village

GOFILOBOD, Tajikistan -- Flood waters have submerged the village of Gofilobod, news media reported April 12
Heavy rains caused the Yakhsu River to overflow its banks and swamp the village April 11, according to the Tajik committee for emergencies. Authorities evacuated the village's 147 families in time.
