ISLAMABAD – Artists and students receiving scholarships will be allowed to leave Pakistan only after obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Interior Ministry, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said February 23.
The Home Ministry will engage intelligence agencies to determine which countries are providing scholarships to Pakistani students and for what purposes, Malik said during a National Assembly session.
Malik also said the ministry would investigate all foreigners residing in the country and foreign companies operating in Pakistan, DawnNews reported.
