KP hints at operation in and around Nowshera

PESHAWAR – A military operation against rhe Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) network in Bahader Baba, Akora Khattak, Badarshi and other towns of Nowshera District, will be launched, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain said, according to February 29 media reports. He did not say when the operation would begin.
The TTP has a strong network in those and other towns in Nowshera, Iftikhar said.
“The militants in parts of Nowshera have links with Waziristan as well as the network operating from Darra Adamkhel,” Ifitkhar said.
The minister said anyone providing militants with shelter and food will be punished.
