QUETTA – An exchange of gunfire between police and two unknown men left the men dead and wounded a police officer April 23 in the Akhtar Abad area of Quetta, media reported.
The shootings occurred on the outskirts of the city’s Western By-pass when police tried to intercept a suspicious vehicle, police said.
The men in the vehicle fired at police, injuring a policeman, and attempted to escape. Police returned fire, killing the pair.
