PESHAWAR – Militants April 24 attacked a Bara Qadeem check-post with a hand grenade, killing a child and injuring three people, officials said.
Frontier Constabulary official Abdul Qayyum told Central Asia Online that unknown motorcyclists lobbed a hand grenade at the check-post, which missed the post and hit the shops behind it.
A boy, who is believed to be a shopkeeper’s son, died in the explosion while three passers-by were injured. The injured were taken to the Hayatabad Medical Complex for treatment.
