ASTANA – The Turkmen government plans to raise salaries 10% and pensions 15% January 1, Turkmenistan.ru reported June 18, quoting Vice-Prime Minister Annamukhammet Gochyev, who has the economics and finance portfolio.
Gochyev made the announcement at a June 18 joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council.
President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov praised the move, according to Turkmenistan.ru.
