Orakzai passenger van blast kills 12

ORAKZAI AGENCY – A remote-controlled bomb ripped through a passenger van, killing at least 12 and wounding two others July 18 in the Sipaye area of Lower Orakzai Agency, officials said.
The bomb apparently was planted inside the vehicle, which was carrying passengers to Kohat District, Lower Orakzai Political Tehsildar Syed Noman Shah said.
All the dead were members of the Baba Nawasi Barmakhel Sipaye tribe.
The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
