5.6-point earthquake hits Afghanistan, Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – A magnitude-5.6 earthquake shook several northern parts of Pakistan, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Swat, North Waziristan, Nowshera and Abbottabad July 19, Express News reported.
The quake’s epicentre was in the Hindu Kush region, Afghanistan, according to the Pakistani meteorological office.
The tremor lasted a few seconds but caused no loss of life or property damage.
