Dushanbe to host AFC President’s Cup

DUSHANBE – The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) July 18 awarded hosting rights for the AFC President’s Cup final to Dushanbe, according to the Tajik Football Federation website.
Dushanbe will host the event in its 20,000-seat Central Republic Stadium September 24-30.
Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Cambodia competed for the honour. In 2009, Tursunzade, Tajikistan, hosted the final.
Istiklol (Tajikistan), Dordoi (Kyrgyzstan) and Khan Research Laboratories (Pakistan) are three of the six teams in the final.
