PARA CHINAR – A bomb November 7 killed a security officer and injured 19 civilians in the Sadda bazaar area of Kurram Agency.
Unidentified miscreants concealed an explosive device in a fruit cart that was parked along the roadside in the main Sadda bazaar, Muhammad Arif, an administrative official, told Central Asia Online.
"The device was possibly detonated with a remote control when an official vehicle parked near it,” he said. The security officer who died was affiliated with Kurram Levies force.
The Ghareeb Shah Baba primary school, in the same area, was also attacked the night before, but that blast caused only minor damage, he said.
