2 Karachi PPP activists killed
KARACHI – Unidentified attackers November 7 shot and killed two members of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) at a restaurant in Orangi Town, media reported.
The two men were both identified as Shias and they died on the spot, Jang reported.
The bodies were moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, media added.
Demonstrations took place in the city after the killings were reported. Mobs torched a passenger bus and a truck in the North Nazimabad and Five-Star Chowrangi areas, media reported.
