TASHKENT – The Uzbek government is planning to sell 22 buildings owned by Tashkent city hall and use the revenue to repair some Tashkent apartment buildings, Norma.uz reported July 31, citing a July 25 Cabinet of Ministers resolution.
Workers will renovate the apartment buildings' roofs, entryways and elevators; install utility metres in the buildings; and improve Tashkent's outdoor lighting, the report said.
