TASHKENT – It's now illegal in Uzbekistan to undergo terrorist training or to fail to report a terrorist act either before or after it happens, Gazeta.uz reported January 21, citing a bill that President Islam Karimov signed January 20.
Perpetrators of fatal terrorist acts and recipients of terrorist training can be imprisoned for five to seven years, according to the bill Karimov signed.
