ASHGABAT – Turkmenistan is building almost US $42 billion (119.7 billion TMT) of various projects, President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov said during a June 13 cabinet meeting, according to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
They include a new seaport in Turkmenbashi, he said.
Other projects include new chemical-processing plants and Turkmenistan's segment of a north-south regional railway linking Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to the Persian Gulf.
