Uzbekistan intends to enter WTO
TASHKENT – Uzbekistan is planning to enter the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Anhor.uz reported, citing a July 11 Uzbek Cabinet of Ministers resolution that was published July 21.
The resolution listed several tasks for Uzbek officials to carry out during the application process. They include studying the efforts of countries economically similar to Uzbekistan to minimise harmful results of joining the WTO and bringing Uzbek laws into accordance with WTO regulations.
