Turkmenistan to build gas-to-gasoline conversion plant
ASHGABAT – Turkmenistan is working on a plan to build a natural-gas-to-gasoline conversion plant in Akhal Oblast, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan said in a July 25 statement.
The plant is expected to convert 1.8 billion cu. metres of natural gas per year into 600,000 tonnes of gasoline, the statement said, adding that the Japan Bank for International Co-operation would help finance the plant. Turkish and Japanese companies will help build it.
